The GoldPesa Option Token (GPO) is an exotic call option with a moving strike price. Each GPO token represents an option to purchase 1 newly minted GPX token or 1 newly minted BTCg token at spot price + 1%.

What Is GoldPesa (GPX) and GoldPesa Bitcoin (BTCg)?

The GPX and BTCg tokens have been designed to act as hybrid tokens, initially minted and sold at spot market price + 1%. Hybrid tokens are generally pegged to other assets or currencies. They are collateralised and float in price with an expected premium, due to the earnings aspect of the GPX and BTCg token.

1 GPX is ultimately backed by 1 gram of physical gold and 1 BTCg is backed by 0.001 Bitcoin (BTC).

GPX tokens are directly backed by Paxos Gold (“PAXG”) and BTCg tokens are directly backed by wrapped Bitcoin (“wBTC”) tokens which are stored in decentralised smart contracts.

This ensures users that their underlying digital assets (PAXG/wBTC) are secured in a decentralised and trustless manner on the blockchain and that no central body, authority, government or even GoldPesa has access to GoldPesa token holders' underlying digital assets.
